- To manage higher education in the field of plant protection in order to produce human resources capable of identifying problems and finding solutions based on the principles of Integrated Pest and Disease Management (IPM);
- To carry out research that supports education and community services in the field of crop protection to support sustainable agriculture systems;
- To develop concepts and technology that are considered as a reference (trendsetter) in plant protection related policymaking.
