On February 11, 2025, the Master’s Program in Phytopathology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, officially welcomed 11 new students joining the Graduate Program in Phytopathology. This welcoming event marked the beginning of the students’ academic journey, oriented toward strengthening scientific capacity, research development, and innovation in the field of plant protection.

The Master’s Program in Phytopathology is committed to supporting an excellent, research-based learning process that is responsive to current challenges in plant protection in Indonesia. It is expected that all new students will develop their academic and professional competencies optimally and make meaningful contributions to the advancement of phytopathology and sustainable agricultural development at the national level. ✨

The Master’s Program in Phytopathology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations, particularly Quality Education (SDG 4), Zero Hunger (SDG 2), and Life on Land (SDG 15). Through research-based education and innovation in plant protection, the program supports the development of productive, sustainable, and environmentally responsible agricultural systems in Indonesia.
