Myristica fragrans Houtt. (Nutmeg also known as pala in Indonesia) is an evergreen tree indigenous to the Moluccas of Indonesia. Some species of insect were collected from nutmeg area such as Batocera hercules, Coptocercus biguttatus, Gnoma zonaria, and Podomyrma basalis. The information about pests of nutmeg in Indonesia is still very limited.
