Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture UGM Holds Graduation Ceremony for March I 2026 Period

On March 11, 2026, the Department of Plant Protection Universitas Gadjah Mada, held a yudisium (graduation ceremony) for six students. The March I 2026 ceremony was held in the Meeting Room of the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, 3rd Floor, Building A1.

The graduates, consisting of students from the Undergraduate Program in Plant Protection and the Master’s Program in Plant Pest Science, shared reflections and experiences from their academic journey at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada. They expressed that studying in the fields of Plant Protection, Phytopathology, and Plant Pest Science provided valuable experiences, including the development of both hard and soft skills, comprehensive scientific understanding and its practical applications, as well as the expansion of professional networks. In addition to expressing gratitude for their educational journey, the graduates also conveyed their hopes for the department’s future development—aspiring for the Department of Plant Protection to continue progressing, producing outstanding and impactful graduates, and for all lecturers to be granted continued health and well-being.

This series of activities reflects the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases’ commitment to supporting sustainable development through community engagement and academic excellence. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
