
A coordination meeting regarding the preparation for the accreditation of the Plant Protection Study Program was held on 5 February 2026 in the Meeting Room of the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The meeting focused on the accreditation process conducted by the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Pendidikan Tinggi Ilmu Pertanian (LAM-PTIP) for the Plant Protection Study Program. The event was attended by all lecturers and administrative staff within the department as part of a collective effort to prepare the accreditation documents comprehensively.
During the meeting, several key matters were discussed, including the collection of required documents, the allocation of responsibilities for preparing the accreditation files, and the procedures for completing the accreditation documents, which consist of the LED (Self-Evaluation Form) and LKPS (Study Program Performance Report) containing various data and supporting documents related to program performance. The meeting also addressed the assessment mechanisms to be conducted by LAM-PTIP evaluators, ensuring that the team fully understands the evaluation criteria and can prepare the documents systematically in accordance with the established accreditation standards. Through this coordination, it is expected that the preparation process for the Plant Protection Study Program accreditation will proceed optimally and achieve the best possible accreditation results.
The accreditation preparation meeting organized by the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada also aligns with efforts to achieve targets within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The process of preparing accreditation documents and evaluating program performance supports SDG 4: Quality Education, particularly by enhancing the quality of higher education through a structured and sustainable academic quality assurance system. Furthermore, the collaboration between lecturers and administrative staff in preparing accreditation documents and meeting the standards set by LAM-PTIP reflects transparent and accountable institutional governance practices. This collective effort also aligns with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, emphasizing the importance of internal collaboration within educational institutions to strengthen the quality of study programs and support the sustainable development of education and research in the agricultural sector.
